Mom: Your car is a hero, Sam? Why is he a hero?
Sam: Because he helps people feel better!
Mom: Does that mean Dad is a hero, too?
Sam: No!
Mom: Why not? He helps people feel better.
Sam, after thinking a moment: Oh, yeah. Yeah, Dad IS a hero.
I've always thought so.
