...better all the time. Getting so much better all the time! (Sam listens to the Beatles all day, every day.)
Yesterday was Sam's second full day of school. It was great! When I picked him up last Thursday he cried and cried. He hates having to leave anywhere. If I thought about it too much I'd really have a complex about it. Yesterday I think Sam was realizing that he is going to be able to keep going back to school and doesn't need to fall apart when he is picked up. He had a lot to tell me, too. Usually getting information from him is like pulling teeth. On the way home yesterday, I was informed:
1. Sam rode on the swings.
2. Owen was on the swings, too, and kept yelling, "Higher! Higher!"
3. Sam went inside and washed his hands, with bubbles, and then dried them off.
4. Sam had a cookie, some banana, and water for snack. Mrs. Newhall had water and milk but did not have any juice.
5. Sam played with the cars but did not play with the babies.
6. Sam painted with blue paint. He tried painting a blue truck but was unable to draw a truck. So he just painted blue.
7. They sang the Itsy Bitsy Spider, but it wasn't itsy bitsy. It was huge and white.
8. Mrs. Sue read them a book about hairs at school. He was adamant it wasn't about hares, like rabbits, but hairs on a head. (I'm going to have to find out what in the world this book is about.)
9. A boy was wearing a brown shirt with a cat and a mouse on it and Sam wants to watch it. (I'm assuming this means it was Tom and Jerry - ?)
10. Mrs. Newhall told them to clean up so they could go home with their moms and dads.
I couldn't be happier with Sam's school!

Wow! That's a lotta learning in just two hours (or 90 minutes?) He can call his blue painting a truck, it's the artist's interpretation!
