Up, Please

Sam was a pretty content baby. He didn't get too worked up about where I put him. He absolutely loved his car seat. As I said before, he slept in it until he was five months old. After that, it continued to be his favorite chair. He napped in it well past a year old!

I've been putting Matilda in her car seat during the day. She was fine at first. Now being in her seat makes her MAD. She strains forward, lifting her head and feet. The little stinker is trying to sit up! She does not like lounging.

I have Charlie's knockoff-Bumbo chair here for when I watch her. I thought Matilda was too little but I finally stuck her in there out of desperation.

Matilda LOVES it! She wants to be sitting up all the time. Yesterday I got out Sam's old exersaucer and cleaned it up. Matilda was in there over an hour last night.

This kid isn't taking life lying down!

She's in shock that she's actually sitting up.

Still shocked. I'm shocked by how big she is!

Once the surprise wore off she smiled and screamed and laughed. This was the closest picture I got to a smile.

Blue eyes and chubby cheeks - I could just squish her all day!

And a quick update - we are all healthy! Hooray! Sam is playing and eating like crazy. He's making up for lost time.

She is so changed and still so pretty - those blue eyes are melt my heart, too. I need a Matilda-fix soon.
