Matilda Eats Chocolate

Holy cow.

I just gave Sam a chocolate cookie and decided to let Matilda have a taste. She was sitting on the floor with her knees bent and her butt on her feet. (Did that make sense?) I sat in front of her and put the first taste in her mouth.

It was like watching a light turn on. Her slightly bored, glazed expression lit up like Christmas. Blue eyes blazing, she looked at the rest of the cookie in my hand. I put another taste in her mouth. She popped up onto her knees and started shuffling in place. The third bite made her stand up - completely unassisted - to look me straight in the eye. I gave her the last few crumbs and she fell back to the floor, completely satisfied.

My baby is going to LOVE Halloween.

Ok so I happen to be eating M&M's as I am reading this...it's in our blood, poor baby. There's no stopping it now.

That's awesome. I gave Grant a couple of M&M's yesterday. My mom sent them and he stared me down until I relented. They melt surprisingly fast. And he was screaming he was so happy.
