Well, kind of.
Matilda wants to roll over so badly. I can't believe how she can scoot herself around a room. I thought I'd have more time before having to worry about her!
As soon as I put her on her back on the floor she starts. She wrenches her head back and starts kicking and swinging her right leg as hard as she can. She has gotten so far over on her left side I've held my breath, certain she's about to do it. The whole time she is smiling and screeching. She has so much fun struggling! I've watched her turn herself in a perfect circle, with her head in one spot and her feet going around like a clock. It takes a while, but she does that circle/struggling and manages to get halfway across a room.
I don't know anything about baby milestones this time around. I worried so much about Sam that I have been taking a much more relaxed approach with Matilda. I had to look rolling up online. Apparently, babies can roll from stomach to back at 2 or 3 months and from back to stomach at 5 or 6 months. I guess Matilda is different! When I put her on her stomach she's useless. It's the back to stomach that she's so excited to do!
So Matilda technically hasn't rolled over yet. I am in NO RUSH for her to be mobile. But I am amused to see my determined little girl try and try again. I know that once she takes off, there will be no stopping her.

It sounds Like she's really strong! And I love that she is happy with the challenge/struggle. Does she hate tunny-time?
