Anyone Under Eighteen

Jackie, Dusty, and I have kids of all different ages. We've all watched each other's children for years. I have been helped a lot more than I have been able to pay back! Today, I ended up having to make up for lost time. My sister is a master at organizing schedules and I think I might be getting better at it, too.

I got up at 5 am and got ready. I drove to Jackie's house (with doughnuts in hand!) to keep Miranda and James company. Jackie had a flight to catch this morning and she had to leave before her kids got on the bus. I saw them safely off and then sped back to my house to pick up Eric. He and I had an appointment at 8 am that couldn't be rescheduled. Papa to the rescue! I had arranged for Grandpa Wally to come over before work to watch the kids while we were gone. We had to speed home after the appointment as Dusty was there at 9 am, dropping off Charlie for the day. At 9:15, I was home with three kids and I was exhausted.

Thank God for naptime!
